Captain Joseph Chiara
CPT Joseph Chiara, MD, graduated with honors from a five-year residency in Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) from Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash., on June 4.
Dr. Chiara scored above the 95th percentile on the national examination among all residents. He performed over 2,000 operations and treated thousands of patients for otolaryngology related illness while at Madigan.
CPT Chiara has received a new assignment as Staff Otolaryngologist at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, Kan.
Joseph and his wife Jamie and their three children have relocated to Manhattan, Kan. He is the son of Keith and Carol Chiara, of Helper.
