Babe Ruth teams head off to region tournament

After regular season play, the Babe Ruth league put together five all-star teams to head to Vernal for regional action. Two of the five teams will advance to their respective state tournaments for a chance to head to California for the national tournaments.

The Carbon 13 year old squad were the champions of their age group in Vernal and will now head to Panquich Saturday for their chance at advancing.

The Carbon 14 year old Blue team lost their first two games and were eliminated. Carbon 14 year old White were doing well before losing their final game and ending their season.

For the Carbon 15 year olds, the Blue team lost to Vernal and then lost to Carbon White to end their season. Carbon White then played Vernal and lost. But both Vernal and Carbon White will head to Murray Saturday to try to earn a berth in California.
