East Carbon senior named as finalist for national award. East Carbon Viking pitcher Tony McFarland was recently selected as a finilist for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award. McFarland was one of 10 seniors named to this final list from Utah and will now be considered for the national award. McFarland will be part of 13,000 nominees nationwide to be nominated for the award.
