Farrell and Norma Belliston
Farrell and Norma Belliston, of Redlands, Calif., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 23.
Honoring them on their 60th anniversary were their children and spouses Mark and Valerie Sponheim and Richard and Phyllis Belliston; and their grandchildren, Thomas and Joseph Sponheim and Jamie and Ryan Belliston.
Farrell and Norma grew up in and around Price and were high school sweethearts. Their relationship was interrupted by World War II, but shortly after the war they were married and settled briefly in Salt Lake City.
Looking for more opportunities, they moved to the Los Angeles area and started a family. Farrell worked for Alcoa as an electrical engineer and Norma worked in the local school district. They also owned and operated Country Store Liquors in Monterey Park, Calif.
Farrell and Norma love to travel. In addition to extensive automobile trips across the United States, they have traveled to Hawaii, Italy, Turkey, Greece, France, Germany and England.
Upon retirement, they moved to the Marina Towers in Oceanside, Calif., to enjoy beachside living.
They recently moved to Redlands to be closer to their family and now live in Plymouth Village retirement community in Redlands, Calif.
