United Way and Spencer's Wishes teamed up to collect gently used shoes and socks to be sent to the Mi Angel De La Guarda orphanage in Matazlan Mexico. Phil Roundy found out about the needs of the orphanage through Price residence Ozwaldo and Adrian Loaiza. The Loaizas formerly lived in the region and discovered the orphanage on a trip back home to visit relatives. Approximately 45 children under the age of 14 live at the home. All of their necessities must be obtained by donations. In the photo: United Way Director Kate Alleman; United Way Board Members Ann Evans and Irene Hansen; Spencer's Wishes DIrector Phil Roundy; United Way Board Members Conae Black, Susan Etzel and Shane Baggs.
