Editor:

As a member of the National Foundation For Women Legislators, Inc. I can sponsor any young woman who would like to enter their annual essay contest. This year the NFWL and the NRA will sponsor the Bill of Rights National Essay Contest. The topic is Freedom and Civic Virtues.

The deadline for submission in Friday, July 30, 2010. The essay is limited to 400-600 words. There will be seven winners who will win $3,000.00 for the college of their choice and an all expense paid trip to Florida with me in November to the annual NFWL Conference.

Last year all of the winners came from back east and I would love to have a young woman from the west and especially the area I represent in Utah win.

Please pass the word along to any 2010 or 2011 high school graduate. I can email or fax the information to anyone who is interested.

My email is cwatkins@utah.gov and cell number is 435-650 1969.

I would love to take a young woman from Utah to the conference with me.
