Jeanette Lloyd is engrossed in reading one of the books she is buying at the annual Friends of the Price Library book sale in the Price City Hall lobby. Hardcover books are on sale for $1 each, with paperbacks even cheaper. The library is also selling video tapes. Proceeds go to support new book purchases and library programs. The sale continues through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As the sale goes on, librarians are conducting their annual inventory of the library's collection of books, books on tape, compact discs, video tapes and DVDs. The library will reopen on Monday with summer hours in effect.
