The Price American Legion Post #3 has selected three boys to attend Boys State at Weber State University in Ogden June 7-11.

Neldon Huff, Post #3 Boys State chairman announced the three boys are Colin Moynier, A.J. Harmon and Peter Mantas and they will represent the organization at the 2010 event.

Boys state is a program of experience and education for high school juniors. It is, in effect, a government unit in which each boy participates in the operation of local, county and state government.

At Boy's State, boys become acquainted with the rights and privileges of a citizen and are instilled with a deep sense of the duties and obligations which citizenship entails.

The training is objective and practical with city, county and state governments being operated by elected and appointed officials duly placed in office by the citizens of a Boy's State.
