Active Re-Entry to host conference

Carbon County's Active Re-Entry agency will host the 16th Annual Seniors and Caregivers Conference on June 4. The conference deals with the issues of caring for elderly parents.

Keynote speaker will be Maria M. Meyer, co-author of the award-winning guide, The Comfort of Home - A Complete Guide for Caregivers. Also on the agenda is Nancy Stallings, program manager of the Salt Lake County Aging Services Caregiver Support Program. Her topic will be "The Age Wave: Implications for Communities and Care Services." Attorney Don M. Torgerson will offer a presentation on estate planning and legal issues.

The conference will be held at the Active Re-Entry building, 10 S. Fairgrounds Rd. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. Deadline for registration is May 28. Those wishing to attend may contact Active Re-Entry 637-4950.
