Winifred Marie West

Winifred (Winnie) Marie West passed away on May 15, 2010 in Price.

She was born in Lincoln, Neb. She married Donald Lynn West on Sept. 22, 1951 and solemnized later in the Los Angeles, Calif., LDS Temple.

She was raised in Rialto, Calif., and attended Elementary and Junior High School there. She graduated fromHigh School in Ontario, Calif. She loved to travel, read, bake, crochet and knit. She retired from U.S. Borax and Chemical Corporation as a Senior Accounting Clerk in 1993.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Lynn West, daughter, Denise Irene Rowley, son, Donald Lynn West Jr., and sister, Beatrice Irene Rose.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1967. She has 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother.

A short grave dedication and Interment services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Price City Cemetery.
