Carbon High School student Megan Jayme is among 25 graduating high school seniors in Utah to receive a $5,000 Horatio Alger Scholarship this year, funded by the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation. The Horatio Alger Scholarship is a national college scholarship program. Jayme, a Price resident, was honored recently along with other scholarship recipients at an awards luncheon at the governor's mansion. The event was hosted by Rocky Mountain Power President Richard Walje and Utah First Lady Jeanette Herbert.
