State, county and Helper public safety responders converged on the scene of a one-car rollover on Spring Glen Road south of Helper last week. Highway Patrol Trooper Greg Funk said the driver was southbound and apparently swerved to avoid oncoming traffic. The car rolled down an embankment and into an alfalfa field. The driver then rumbled the damaged vehicle several hundred yards down the field and became stranded trying to climb the embankment at the south end. There were no serious injuries. The driver's name was not released at press time pending the results of an investigation.
