The April 29 girl's golf tournament was once again plagued by weather. Due to snow, the venue was changed from Soldier Hollow to Spanish Oaks Golf Course.

Snow flurries still plagued the nine hole tournament, but for two hours Mother Nature deemed fit to give the teams cold, but playable conditions. In that two hours the Lady Dinos shot good enough for 96 points and a second place finish. Park City won the tournament with 111 points. Union was third with 65 points and Wasatch ended with 44 points. Park City's Sami Crouch was medalist with 45 points.

Coach Kenji Otani summed things up,"The Lady Dinos were amazing. Lexi Gagon stepped up with a wonderful round and delivered 34 points. Audra Eaquinto, a rookie on the team, made 32 points. And Shelby Wilson, playing on a bad ankle, made 30 points. I can't say enough about all of my girls, rain or shine they always give 100%. What a great team."

He added, "Not to jinx us, but with just one tournament left before the 3A State Tournament, I just can't wait, for State."
