Power outage affects east Price and central county area Tuesday evening

A Utah Power and Light repairman looks at a transformer near U.S. 6 and Old Wellington Road on Wednesday night after the power in the area failed. The outage affected east price from Airport Road east to between Wellington and Price. The outage also knocked out the cable television system for about an hour even in houses that had power. A number of businesses had to shut down and herd their customers out during the outage.
