GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - Nancy Lee (Sutton) McCurdy of Grand Junction, Colo. passed away Friday, March 26 at Community Hospital after a short illness. Nancy was born Dec. 16, 1934 in Consumers to Lloyd D. and Avis (VanWagenen) Sutton.
After graduation from Carbon College in Price, Nancy married Charles S McCurdy (deceased) in Aztec, N.M. in 1954. They divorced in 1975.
Nancy worked as a homemaker and waitress until training to become a CNA. She worked as a CNA at Community Hospital and Hilltop Rehabilitation Hospital Home Care.
Nancy is survived by daughters, Kathy (Ed) Moody of Grand Junction, Colo. and Robin Kendrick of Greeley, Colo.: son, Richard (Teaa), Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her sisters, Lou (Ron) Goff, Goodyear, Ariz. and Patsy (John) Perez of Kingsville, Texas.
Nancy enjoyed sewing, crafts and loved cats. Memorial contributions may be made to Roice Hurst Humane Society, 3320 D Y2 Road, Clifton, Colo. 81520.
