100th birthday
The family of Ann Wilcox Armstrong Tays honored her on the occasion of her 100th birthday at a dinner Sept. 28 hosted by her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Nadine Armstrong, in Auburn, Calif.
Ann was born Sept. 29, 1902 in Castle Dale to James and Harriet Wilcox. She married Frank Armstrong in 1928 and they resided mostly in Kenilworth until his passing in 1963.
The couple had two children, Jack and Frances. Frances passed away three years ago
Ann later married Havelock Tays and they lived in Kenilworth, Helper and the Salt Lake area. Tays passed away in 1996.
Ann lived with Frances and Jim Domire from 1993 until 1999, when she moved to Auburn, Calif., to reside with her son, Jack.
90th birthday
Velma McKee Anderson will celebrate her 90th birthday on Oct. 24th.
She is a longtime resident of Carbon and Emery Counties.
Velma was born October 24, 1912 in Huntington, Utah.
