PRICE - Surrounded by his family, our beloved dad and grandpa, Arthur Manzanares, passed away peacefully at his home in Price on March 20, 2010 due to complications from a stroke that he suffered last June.

In the late 1960's Art moved to Moab where he had many wonderful friends. In 2001 Art moved to Price. We are forever thankful for his decision to move close to us, and very grateful for the bonds and joyful memories that followed.
Art loved the great outdoors, watching the Jazz games and especially fishing with his kids and grandkids. He was a uranium coal miner, construction worker, and also liked working as an extra in the many movies that were filmed in the great valley of Moab such as Purple Sage, Against A Crooked Sky and Thelma and Louise. He won an award from the film commission for his speaking role in the movie Geronimo.
Art had a great sense of humor, and was always a lot of fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.
