Dozens of children and their parents showed up on on a beautiful clear Saturday, March 20 to celebrate Free Kite Day at the Model Airplane Airport near the Carbon County Fairgrounds. The first 250 children received a free kite, while free hot dogs and soda were served courtesy of KUSA (Eagle) Radio, the Price Kiwanis Club, Carbon County Recreation, Carbon County Fairgrounds, Swift's Stop & Shop, TK's Pro Shop, Wal-Mart, Market Express, R&A Market, Coca-Cola and Fresh Market.
