Despite some chilly temperatures that proceeded a short but intense spring snowstorm later in the afternoon, hundreds gathered to watch the 28th annual Price St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 13. Dozens of groups and individuals participated, including children in a shamrock float, above, and even Hizzonner Mayor Joe Piccolo, left. The cavalcade ran from the Subway down Main Street to Second and everyone seemed to enjoy the event. Along the procession route, kids were given candy, balloons and other treats. Parade committee chairwoman Jackie Davis was very pleased with the affair - one of the best she has seen. And that's saying a lot, since she's been in charge for 15 years.
