NOTICE OF AGENCY ACTION
CAUSE NO. UIC - 361.1
	IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF MARION ENERGYFOR ADMINISTRATIVE
APPROVAL OF THE UTAH FUELS #8 SWDWELL LOCATED IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP
13S, RANGE 7E, CARBON COUNTY, UTAH, AS A CLASS II INJECTION WELL.

	THE STATE OF UTAH TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ABOVE ENTITLED
MATTER.

	Notice is hereby given that the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining (the
"Division") is commencing an informal adjudicative proceeding to
consider the application of Marion Energy for administrative approval
of the Utah Fuels #8 SWD well, located in NE/4 NW/4, Section 19,
Township 13S, Range 7E, Salt LakeMeridian, Carbon County, Utah, for
conversion to a Class II injection well.  The adjudicative proceedings
will be conducted informally according to Utah Admin. Rule R649-10,
Administrative Procedures.

	Any person desiring to object to the application or otherwise
intervene in the proceeding, must file a written protest or notice of
intervention with the Division within fifteen days following
publication of this notice.  The Division's Presiding Officer for the
proceeding is Gil Hunt, Associate Director, at P.O. Box 145801, Salt
Lake City, Utah 84114-5801, phone number (801) 538-5340.  If such a
protest or notice of intervention is received, a hearing will be
scheduled in accordance with the aforementioned administrative
procedure rule.  Protestants and/or interveners should be prepared to
demonstrate at the hearing how this matter affects their interests.
