Price Recovery group - meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the CEU computer building.


Reach to Recovery - The American Cancer Society program matches a diagnosed breast cancer patient with a trained survivor who can answer questions and address concerns.

For information, Carbon County residents may call Shanna Mezek at 637-3204.


NAMI - The local National Alliance on Mental Illness affiliate meets the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Bridges and family classes are Thursday at 6:45 p.m. Connection support group meets Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Sun Advocate office in Price.

MS support group- meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Southeastern Utah Health District in Price. For information, call Danny or Tami Velasquez at 637-0712.


Grieving parent support group - For parents who have lost a child, the group meets the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Castleview classroom.


Scooter & Wheelchair Users ADA support group - meets the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. at the housing authority, 251 S. 1600 East, Price.


Domestic violence support groups - are scheduled weekly.

For information, Carbon County residents should call the 24-hour crisis line at 637-6589.


Grief support group - Open to all residents who have lost loved ones, the group meets monthly at Active Re-Entry. For information, contact Lisa Martinez at 637-4950.


AA and Al-Anon meetings - The schedule includes:

AA (open), daily, noon, Price Alano Club, 1267 Carbonville Road, 365 days per year.

AA Coal Sober (open), Wednesday and Saturday, 8 p.m., Price Alano Club.

AA Stepsisters (closed), Tuesday, 5:30 p.m., Alano Club.

AA (open), Tuesday and Friday, 7 p.m., East Carbon City Hall, 105 West Geneva Road.

AA Steps, Friday 7 p.m., Alano Club.

Al-Anon (open), Thursday, 7 p.m., starting April 30, Price Methodist Church, 10 North 200 East.


NA meetings - The schedule includes:

Monday, 8 p.m., Four Corners.

Tuesday, noon, Four Corners.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 p.m., Farlaino's Cafe, Main Street in Price.

Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Farlaino's Cafe.

Sunday, 8 p.m., Price United Methodist Church.


Women's cancer support group - meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Castleview's classroom. For information, contact Sherry King at 637-4800, extension 3510.


Caregivers support group - meets monthly at Active Re-Entry. For information, contact Lisa Martinez at 637-4950.


Life Line pregnancy assistance and support - provides alternatives to abortion for women with unplanned pregnancies. Services include testing, verification, referrals to community resources and counseling.

The 24-hour crisis line number is 636-0700.

Donations and volunteers are welcomed.


Look Good, Feel Better - The free American Cancer Society program helps women address the appearance related side effects of treatment.

The group meets the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at College of Eastern Utah.

To register, Carbon County residents may contact Debbie Prichard at 613-5302.


Newborns in Need- Residents are encouraged to donate baby items for needy infants in Carbon County.

For information, contact Carol Miller at 637-3743.


Teen parenting class - is scheduled Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Lighthouse.

Thirty-six hours will equal one elective credit.
