Pro Start, a culinary cooking class at Carbon High School, above, recently catered a dinner for the Kiwanis Club of Price with an amazing menu of chicken cordon bleu, salmon with creamy basil sauce, garlic potatoes, rice pilaf, sauteed vegetables, glazed carrots, French onion soup, green salad and panna-cotta and lemon tarts for dessert. The program, under the supervision of Daphne Stockdale, a family consumer science instructor, teaches students how to cook wonderful foods, and also caters. At right, students Theresa Montoya and Daniel Larson whip up some fancy victuals. To find out more about the program, contact Carbon High School at 637-2463.
