ROOSEVELT - Ronald Troy Wallberg, age 52, of Roosevelt, passed away Feb. 14, 2010, at home.
He was born June 14, 1957, in Salt Lake City to Darrell LaVar and Ina Dorline Giles Wallberg. He married Camillia Christine Spicer and they later divorced. He married Delia Jane Burson on Jan. 30, 1998, in Price.
Ron was a fun loving guy who was a hardworker and put his family as his number one priority. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and watching John Wayne movies. He was a loyal friend who kept his word and was always in good spirits. He was very opinionated and shared advice freely - even if you didn't want to hear it. Growing up on a farm gave him a love of animals, especially horses which he trained and used for riding and roping. He had a special place in his heart for his dog, Bear.
He is survived by his wife, Delia, Roosevelt; children, Jessica Dawn (LeeThomas) Wallberg and Valdeara Christine (Kevin) Hunter, both of Oklahoma, Geneatae Marie (Owen) Shuck, Roosevelt, Wesley Adam (Misty Arnett) Wallberg, Mo., Gregory Wayne (Skye) Poundstone, Duchesne, Brian Poundstone, Gunnison, Mark Faircloth, Robert Faircloth, Corrina Jasmine, all of Roosevelt; grandchildren, Brianna and Kaleb Thomas, Jayonna, Austin, Gabriel Hunter. Alexis Jasmine Marie Wallberg. Skylee and Lilly Ann Poundstone, Kayden Faircloth; mother, Dorline Wallberg, Price; brothers and sisters, Melvin Lee (Carol) Wallberg, California; Darrell Wallberg, Malad, Idaho, Debra (Gary ) Motte, Wellington, James Wallberg, Salt Lake City, Donna (Paul) Hazlewood, Colorado, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Darrell, Sr.; daughter, Sandra; grandson, Joshua Thomas; and a brother, Dwayne Wallberg
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at the Hullinger Mortuary where viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday and from 9-9:45 on Saturday.
