Local youth participate in weekend football league

Youth from across Carbon County wake up early on Saturday mornings to participate in the local youth football league. Several teams from across the Castle Country area gather on the Helper Junior High football field to compete against one another. The sound of helmets crunching and pass calls being yelled can be heard for blocks. The youth enjoy the weekend activity as parents watch with anticipation. Play will resume this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
