Letters to the editor: Toward socialism

By Robert L Warren

Editor:

"By the time I took office, we had a one-year deficit of over $1 trillion and projected deficits of $8 trillion over the next decade," the President said in his State of the Union speech.

Gee, I wonder who is responsible for the current deficit of $100 trillion and growing by another proposed budget for 2011 for $3 trillion, not taking into account another $2 trillion for "Obamacare." Of which, 25 percent is going to support an expanded, unnecessary, extempore, spending, liberal government.

Astonishing!

Watching the State of the Union speech brought back memories of deja'vu. Familiars of campaign promises read from a teleprompter heard a year ago. However, those promises of 'change' have not materialized. If anything, conditions have decayed further; we are worst off now than then. I ask you, why should we believe any part of the angry, elegant, liberal, speech craft contained within the latest state-of-the-union address? "Once burned, twice shy!"

President Berry Hussein Sortero's (the only legal document currently showing his name) goal is to eventually destroy America, or at the least bring her to the socialist level of countries that tried and failed. The powers that control Berry, (because, let us face it, Berry is not the one in control) he will continue to seek destruction of our Constitution with or without his cast of socialist liberal characters. They use things like accusations of racism or the illusion of equality, and disillusion of facts to capture and control American people. To dumb us down is their main goal so they can eventually seek their ultimate desire of control - physical, financial, and spiritual.

Keep your cupboards well stocked, your ammunition and first aid as well. Continue to read the words of our nation's ancestors founding fathers they had it right. The first knock on your door will come from the census-takers. Answer only the most necessary of questions to fulfill your duty as citizens. They are step one in control of this nation.

After that, like the brown shirts of Hitler, the government will come for your cap and trade payments, health insurance installments, then your computers, guns and self-respect.

As the Jesuits have said, "Give me the boy until he is 10 and I will show you the man." Barry's earlier years in the Land of the Elite Socialists simply reinforced this to the point where he views himself as a historic person out to make America conform to the rest of the world. Thus, he has no real understanding of Americans founding principles and uniqueness of individual freedoms. Freedom is just a talking point to him, lacking realism.

Berry has arrogantly ignored what 61 percent of Americans voters are attempting to tell him, not including the messages sent from New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts where, just sworn in, Senator Scott Brown learned the melody of 'Tea-Party' and sings it well. The good news is however, comes Nov. 2, 2010 when Americans will send another message, reducing Berry to a lame duck president for his remaining term, better yet resignation, ego permitting.

The bad news is Berry's predecessor Biden, will bring us a comedy of errors within a carnival atmosphere, allowing the rest of the world the opportunity to have a infectious belly laugh at America's expense. Could it be this troubled old world will need a good belly laugh about that time?
