We would like to comment on the story about Melissa Andreini in the Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 edition of the Sun Advocate.

We do not condemn nor condone her behavior. However, we were displeased about the placement of her picture and where the story appeared.

Melissa has suffered much and we know that ordeal is not over. We feel strongly that her story and her "mug shot" should not have been placed on the front page.
