During a blinding snowstorm last week, a Carbon County snowplow made a turn from Highway 6 onto 2000 E. and a drop-off on the side of the road caused the truck to roll over on its side, spilling its sand into the field nearby. White outs and darkness can be the enemy of even professional drivers who work in those conditions frequently. Roadways can disappear in a cloud of white, creating a disorienting experience.
