The CEU mens and womens basketball teams just completed a road trip that took them north to Salt Lake and then south to Ephraim to take on Snow. The men fell just short of beating SLCC with a 75-73 loss. They did squeak by Snow 66-65 for an important conference win.

The Lady Eagles did not fair as well. They dropped a close game to the Bruins with a 89-81 loss on Friday night. Then they lost another close game to the Badgers by the score of 69-66 on Saturday.

The Eagles are sitting in third place in the SWAC just one game under Salt Lake. The Bruins are at 9-4, CEU is sitting at 8-4 and CSI is currently at 7-5. Northern Idaho is on top at 10-2.

For the Lady Eagles, it looks like they will finish in fifth place in the conference. They sit at 3-10 in SWAC action and are 7-16 overall.

This weekend CEU will play host to CSI on Friday night with the women's game starting at 5 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m. in the B-DAC. On Saturday, NIC will roll into town with game times at 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
