Democratic chili dinner lures state and federal candidates

State Representative Christine Watkins serves chili to people attending a Democratic meet-the-candidates fundraiser which was held January 20 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Convention Center in Price. Attendees included Carbon County Commissioners John Jones and Bill Krompel and the candidates for the United States Senate and the Govenorship of Utah. The candidates included Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon and Sam Granato. The two met with the local party officials and delegates for their support.
