Outgoing Carbon Chamber of Commerce President Errol Holt hands over a hat that was instituted as a tradional passing of the president's office a few years ago to new Chamber President Wayne Clausing on Thursday night during the chamber's annual installation banquet ceremonies.

State Senator David Hinkins stands with Utah Lieutenant Governor Greg Bell, College of Eastern Utah interim President Mike King and CEU Vice President Brad King during the pre-dinner mixer at the Carbon Chamber of Commerce installation banquet last Thursday night. Bell spoke to the crowd reminiscing about his days as a youth when his father worked for Sears in Price and he spent a few years growing up in Spring Glen. There more than 100 people in attendance. More information on the event will be in the Sun Advocate business section on Jan. 28.
