WELLINGTON - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Jan. 10, 2010, in Salt Lake City. He was born on June 13, 1923 in Kenilworth to Glen and Erma Jensen. He married Lena E. Rich on Sept. 23, 1942, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, Oct. 1949. They were married for 67 years.
He served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife Lena, five children, Nickie (Stacy) Cheyenne, Wy.; Dennis (Patsy) Carbonville; Valene Houston, Price; Kristy (Kevin) Tolley, Riverton; Lori Jensen, Aliso Viejo, CA, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sisters; Betty, Beth, Gayla and brother; Pete.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday. Jan. 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward, 175 N. 1280 W., Price. Family and friends may visit Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 6-8 pm at the church and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
A special thanks to the team of doctors and nurses in the MICU Unit at the Veterans Hospital.
Interment at Wellington City Cemetery, Wellington.
