The Pinnacle girls went over the mountain to play American Heritage in American Fork on Friday. The first quarter was very close with a one point advantage for Pinnacle. Stronger and quicker passes as well as better ball control was the game plan and showed to be very effective.

In the third quarter the Panthers kept Heritage to just one point while they scored 14. "Our rebounding was much better in the second half. Ashia Andrews stepped up finished the 2nd half with 5 boards and 10 points." Coach Heidi Kay said. With more than 10 total steals Monique Hullings pulled down seven, six coming in the third quarter.

Aishia Andrews had 16 points and six rebounds. Haley Spigarelli had 10 points and nine boards, and Jordan Hammer had 13 points. With the final 61-26 it showed that, "we spent most of the past week focusing on conditioning, getting up and down the court with speed, and in the second half it showed," Said Coach Kay. Now the team is at 5-0 and will travel to Springville to play Merit Academy on Jan. 8.
