Angel trees at Carbon High School

Two Christmas trees at Carbon High sit decorated and ready to be donated a local family as part of the United Way Angel tree program. Angel trees are placed all around the community with the names of children and their wishes hoping someone will sponsor them for the holidays. United Way of Southeastern Utah states that over 400 Carbon and Emery families qualified for assistance for Christmas help. As of last Friday there were still 100 families in need of help. United Way, Spencer's Wishes, Shop with a Cop and the local schools are trying to coordinated efforts to make sure every family that needs help will be served.
