Santa's in town

For Courtney Trujillo it was a complete surprise - just as a Christmas present should be.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came downtown on Saturday in a Price City fire truck to make sure kids could tell them what they wanted.

They also bore a gift.

The pair brought an engagement ring for Trujillo from her boyfriend Randy Jones. And the long time married couple from the North Pole didn't mind a bit. They're used to spreading joy and happiness.

This time it was just in front of the Carbon County Courthouse instead of under the Christmas tree.

Then they spent their day talking to kids about what the little ones wanted for the upcoming holiday. Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted in many places around town, in businesses and at organizations where funds were being raised for various causes.

As Santa put it, "It was a good day."
