On Friday Dec. 4, the Pinnacle Academy girls basketball team took on Paradigm at home. Although the team remains undefeated, Paradigm is the team that has the potential to knock the Panthers out of first place in their league. But not on Friday as the Panthers came out on top again 41 - 28.

Darrian Smith led the team with 14 points and six assists. Haley Spigarelli and Monique Hullings each scored eight points each. Spigarelli pulled in nine boards and Ashia Andrews helped out with six. Spigarelli also picked the pocket of her competition for five steals.

"I was very happy with the win and thought that the girls played tough. This was one of the closest games we have played this season. Until the last couple of minutes, it really could have gone either way," said Coach Heidi Kay about the win.
