Christmas town

To the delight of crowds of kids and adults the Helper Light Parade and fesitivities went smoothly this past weekend.

The crowds were thrilled at the parade on Friday and Saturday night as dozens of floats passed down Main Street with Santa following up to greet the kids.

On Saturday night the fireworks brought a warm feeling to those that were numb from the cold winds blowing out of Price Canyon.

Temperatures hovered in the teens both nights, but the wind chill made it somewhat cooler for those not in cars or buildings watching the parade.

Festivities across the county will continue almost right up until Christmas Eve and through New Years as various venues put on more celebrations of the season
