Price city energy incentive

Starting Dec. 1, Price city will give incentives to residential customers, who buy energy efficient appliances and light fixtures.

Price city's home energy savings program will give customers cash back for purchasing qualified appliances, including Energy Star clothes washers, refrigerators, room air conditioners, lighting fixtures and ceiling fans, as well as qualifying electric water heaters. Rebates range from $20 to $75, and will be available regardless of who installs the product, but must be purchased at a participating retailer.

In addition to receiving the incentive, customers who use energy efficient applications can also substantially reduce the amount of electricity and water they use. For example Energy Star clothes washers use 40 percent less electricity and water each year than conventional ones.
