Kent Jones, Patti Pappas, Maxine Lyon, and Councilmember Kathy Hanna-Smith, the committee of Price Community Progress, is assisting Price City departments by trenching an area to supply the Price Peace Gardens with additional power. According to Kathy Hanna-Smith "this will allow us extended use of the gardens for more concerts, public speaking and power for additional holiday lighting and more." The committee believes the Peace Gardens is a "Gathering Place" and want to make it the focal point of downtown and to create a lively center where people can roam throughout our business districts from the east to the west and the north to the south and yet have a beautiful setting to be entertained or to just relax.
