A main water break on 600 N. by the National Guard Armory in Price, caused a river of rushing water down 300 E. at aproximately 7 p.m. on the evening of Nov. 3. Pictured here is the intersection of 300 E. and 400 N. where water pooled and caused quite a mess of water and leaves. The water pipe suffered a three foot crack in the cast iron pipe that was installed in the 40s or 50s according to public utilities supervisor of water and sewer, Sam White. Price city responded, shutting off the water, which cut the supply to the armory and one dorm at the college on Veterans Avenue. Crews worked through the night and hope to be finished with the repair sometime on Wednesday.
