On Saturday Oct. 24, The College of Eastern Utah Baseball Team hosted their annual fundraiser golf tournament and prize drawing at the Carbon County Golf Course. CEU had 19 teams participate in the annual event.

The top team finished with a ten under par 58. That was Team Richard from Heber City, Utah.

Although golf was one of the big items on the agenda, the real reason people showed up was the huge prize drawing. First prize was a Big Cat four wheeler. Second prize was a meat package valued at over $300. Other prizes included CEU merchandise, apparel and athletic game passes.

Over all, the golf tournament and drawing was a huge success and everyone involved had a great time. The winners of the prize drawing are; the four-wheeler, Judy Brown; meat package, Kevin Markham; CEU sweatshirt- Cindy Burraston; CEU game pass, Heather Griffin, Bryan Phillips and Chans Porter.

The CEU Baseball would like to thank everyone who helped make this project a success. The athletic department is planning to do another prize drawing later this winter. Thetop prize will be a motorized Scooter.

Anyone who thinks they have won something, or would like information regarding the upcoming prize drawing please contact head baseball coach Scott Madsen at 613-5639.
