The restrooms that were installed at the end of the Spring Canyon walking trail a few years ago have been hit hard by vandals who painted them on two outside walls, the entrance walls and one wall inside the building.
The restrooms are in an out of the way spot and the damage happened in the last couple of weeks. Officials say that this will be costly and time consuming to fix. Anyone who has any information about the vandalism is encouraged to call the Helper Police Department at 472-3719.
Carbon County Recreation is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of the individuals who did the damage to the facility.
