Halloween looms large as kids at schools get pumpkins from local business

Students at Pinnacle Canyon Academy pick out pumpkins from the back of a truck parked in front of the school on Friday. Each year agent Richard Hackwell of Farm Bureau Insurance travels around to elementary schools in the area with pumpkins so the kids can decorate them in a contest his business sponsors. Hackwell has been doing this for six years and judging this year will take place on Oct. 26, just before the yearly spooky holiday.
