BOUNTIFUL - On October 4, 2009, we lost the one person who was the light of many lives, our loving Mom and Nana. Barbara (Bobbie) Ruby Wilbur MacDonald was reunited with her loving husband Bill.
Mom married the love of her life on Feb. 2, 1946, at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, they were married for 55 wonderful years and resided in Bountiful were they began their beautiful life. Together they have five children; Thomas, Bountiful; Sharon (Steve) Hatch, Las Vegas; Shauna (Roger) Scovill, Wellington; Ruth (Barney) Weaver, Bountiful; Tami (Ben) Goodin, Bountiful.
Mom's legacy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She showed each one of us the gift of love and meaning of family. She was our "rock" that built our family. Each of her precious grandsons gave Nana a gift of love which made her young at heart and her two youngest grandsons, Dylan and Stockton, gave Nana her strength each day to continue her gift of life. She is back with Poppop to carry on their special love.
Her passion was the love and beauty of her yard and flower gardens.
She always looked forward to spring to begin her creation of her gardens which would awaken with colors and imagination for all to see and enjoy.
Preceded in death was her husband, Bill MacDonald and infant son Kelly Todd.

Graveside services will be Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, under the direction of Sereni Care Funeral Home.
