SACRAMENTO, CALIF. - Born Feb. 17, 1926, Anne passed away peacefully in Sacramento on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Tom, and her parents Robert and Katherine Star.
Anne is survived by her eternally devoted family. Her children, Robert Biegler (Stephanie) and Kathryn Carnovale; (Mario) her grandchildren Robert, Billy and Bradley Biegler, Thomas Barnes and Marco Carnovale; and her siblings, Steve Star, Barbara Lang (Frank), Martin Star (Mary) and Helen Star.
Born in Helper, Anne moved to Sacramento in 1980.
She quickly established a close-knit social circle that would remain dear to her until her passing. Above all, Anne valued family.
Anne's loving spirit extended beyond her own family and beloveds. She volunteered calling the homebound for over 26 years.
She had a passion for the arts-music in particular, and imparted on all the importance of creativity and culture. Incurably outgoing, Anne was known throughout Utah and Sacramento for her good humor, compassion and easy charm. All those who came into contact with her will miss her but the memory of those interactions is lasting.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at 7 p.m. and a Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon reception.
The Vigil, Mass and reception will all be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
