Elizabeth Cunningham and her son Connor pose for the camera along with former President George Bush on Sunday afternoon. The former chief executive of the United States was at the Price Airport getting ready to fly out when Cunningham caught up with him. He had been here on a hunting trip for a couple of days, along with a few other dignitaries.
Walt Borla of Helper stands with the late Ted Kennedy during a meeting in the 1970's. Borla says that he met the youngest Kennedy a couple of times, once when he came to Carbon County to campaign for his brother Jack for president in 1960. At this meeting Borla was at a postal service conference in Washington, D.C.
