GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - Jordan came into this earthly life at a premature age of 25 weeks. He fought a good fight, trying to overcome the odds against him, but at only one month old, he lost the battle. He gave his family great joy the little while he was with them.
He will be greatly missed, but is now with family who have gone on before him and with a loving God to protect him, until the day he will be reunited with his earthly family.
He is survived by his parents, Willie McCourt and Heidi Johnson of Grand Junction, Colo.; his two brothers, Kyler and Dezmon; his two sisters, Kylynn and Cassidy; his grandparents, Wendy and Kelly King, Carla and Pooh Caldwell, Debbie and John Johnson and Terry McCourt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Special thanks to all family and friends for their support during this challenging period, and especially to Janet Grant, the labor and delivery unit; the NICU, and all of the doctors and nurses who attended to Jordan at St. Mary's Hospital.
A service will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary (2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction) on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at 3:30 pm.
