Last year, against a different region slate of teams, it was Carbon on top most of the meets. This year the Dinos find themselves chasing Park City and again last Thursday took second place.

Park City shot a 295 and the Dino team finished with a 306. Michael Coopman from Park City shot a 68 and made a hole-in-one on hole 13, 120 yards. He used a sand wedge and it was witnessed by Jordan Pinedo, Jordan McDonald, and Jake Wagstaff.

For Carbon, Jordan Pinedo shot a 72 and is now in fourth overall for the Region medalist and is only three shots out of second place. Jaren McCourt, a sophomore, shot a 75. Clint Finkbiner shot a 79 and Josh Greenwood fired an 80.

Wasatch was in third place with a 308 and Union followed with a 316.

The Dinos are at Soldier Hollow Thursday (today) for another region meet.
