Construction crews start rebuilding foundation at Petersen Elementary School

Construction workers focus on completing the process of rebuilding the foundation at Petersen Elementary School in Sunnyside. Crews began working last week to solidify the base of the building, which has been giving the district trouble for years. Constructed in the mid-1950s, the school has experienced being packed to the walls with students and currently handles the lower grade education of several hundred youngsters from the local area each year.
