The Carbon Dinos opened another season against Duchesne Friday night. They traveled north in hopes of their first win in a long time, but were not able to generate any offense and lost 40-0. Duchesne scored in the first quarter on a four yard run into the end zone, tacked on the extra point and then never looked back.

For Coach Leo Paur it was a mystery of who took the field for the Carbon Dinos.

"This was not the same team that played so hard in the Blue and White game just a week ago," said Paur. "I told them right before they took the field that the only thing that could defeat us was ourselves. It was a nightmare. As soon they took the field I saw the same deer in the headlights look of as last year."

Paur went on to say: "I've got a really good team. They've worked hard all summer. We have to get past this stage fright and we can win."

The coaching staff and team are going to hit it hard on Monday as they review play films and really push the live scrimmage throughout the week.

Carbon will to travel up to Uintah to play this Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
