PRICE - Our precious and much loved Angel Francisco Romero Liera left us unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 6 2009.

Angel entered this world on June 10, 1990 in San Quintin, Baja Calif., Mexico. Angel leaves behind a beautiful fiance, Freddy Duran, his little baby 13, mother Yeznnya Liera Topete, father Francisco Romero Gilberth of Rosario Baja California, Mexico.

He will be greatly missed by his brother, Jose Abran Romero Liera and sister, Marla de la Luz Hernandez Liera of Rosario Baja Calif., Mexico. Panchito, as his family liked to call him, is also survived by his grandparents Luz Patricia Topete Loreto and Sergio Orduho of Ensendada, Baja Calif., Mexico and Juan Angel Romero Romero, Guillermina Gilberth, Scott Davis of Rosario Bajo Calif. and numerous friends.

Angel attended Mont Harmon Junior High and graduated from Carbon High School in 2008. He was an amazing athlete, playing football and baseball. While playing baseball for Primers Colonic Valles Major League in Baja Calif., Angel was named best player of the league. But those who knew him well knew that his true obsession was boxing. He was a member of the Elks Lodge Boxing Club and trained every chance he got. He won six boxing trophies in the 125 lb. division, was Utah's Boxing Champion and named best boxer of that tournament. Those who knew him, knew that this was a sport that Angel had the potential, desire, skill and ability to possibly go pro. Not only did he love boxing but he loved that his father Manuel coached and gave him the motivation to pursue what he loved.

Angel was a handsome, charming young man with the biggest and brightest smile. He was easy going, loved to goof around and joke with all who met him. He cherished the times he would sing and play the guitar with his father Manuel. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his green Neon, camping and four-wheeling. But most of all he loved spending time with his many, many friends whether it was watching professional boxing, UFC fights, or jamming to techno and Mexican music. Not only did he leave a lasting impression on all who met him but he was an organ donor and is helping others in need.

Angel will be dearly missed and is loved by many. He touched every single one of us in diefferent ways. Pray for him always and know he is watching over all of us and he will take care of us. He is with God now and is finally at peace.

For the time of the viewing check the obituaries on the Sun Advocate web site. It will be posted as soon as the time is announced. Graveside services are planned at a later date in Mexico.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Utah Central Credit Union to help with funeral expenses to get Angel to his native country of Mexico.
